Custom Profile Properties
Overview: Custom properties are useful for tracking facts about individuals. In Klaviyo, you can then create segments of people based on those properties. Custom properties are found under the custom properties section in the Information tab of a profile.
The Klaviyo Connector tracks a customer's Business Account title if the customer is assigned to a Business Account in Miva. This property is tracked for all server-side and client-side metrics.
Historical Data Sync
Overview: the historical data sync feature uses a scheduled task in Miva to process previous orders, and sends the order data to Klaviyo using the Placed Order and Ordered Product metrics. It’s safe to run the scheduled task more than once if needed, order metrics for orders that are already tracked in Klaviyo will not be duplicated.
Possible limitation: Miva has a 1 hour timeout for scheduled tasks. For stores with many orders it will be required to contact Miva’s support team to extend the 1 hour timeout.
Product Feed
Overview: the product feed is an XML-based feed that gets created upon installation of the module. The feed can be updated on a schedule in Miva.
Note: The product feed does not include product variants, products priced at $0, or inactive products.
Compatibility with other modules
Overview: the Klaviyo module is safe to be used with most if not all Miva modules.
Basket Item Replacement Module
There is added support for stores with Miva’s Basket Item Replacement module. Essentially, this module replaces the master product code with the variant product code (if applicable) in all orders.
When the order gets tracked in Klaviyo the properties are associated with the variant product instead of the master product. An additional property name Master_Product will be added for each line item as applicable, to supplement any missing product data such as the master product Categories, Image URL, or Product URL and so on.
